Lesson 6: Careers

Kindergarten through 2nd Grade:

3rd through 6th Grade:

Rather than a recorded lesson for the older students, I encourage students in grades 3 to 6 to go to this website: Utah Futures This website will let kids pick what kind of lifestyle they want to have someday, and figure out how much money it will take to achieve that lifestyle. After you figure out how much money your lifestyle requires, the site also will show you what careers can fit that job and you can explore those careers. OR if you like, you can take an Interest Quiz here to find out what jobs fit your interests. Some of the questions are tricky on this one though, so I would only take the Interest Quiz if you are 5th or 6th grade or if you have a parent help you with the questions.
